The ''' Cawnpore Farukhabad Provincial State Railway ''' was owned by the Provincial Government and was worked by the Rajputana Railway to 31st December 1881 and by the Rajputana-Malwa Railway from 1st December 1882.
The metre gauge([[Rail_gauge_#Metre_Gauge|MG]]) line from [[FarukhabadFarrukhabad]] to Miranserai (37 miles/59km) opened 1 February 1881 and Miranserai to [[Cawnpore]] (49 miles/78km) opened 15 December 1880
