Chota Nagpur Regiment

Originally formed as the Chota Nagpur Mounted Rifles on 7th August 1891. On 2nd March 1910 the unit became the Chota Nagpur Light Horse before becoming the Chota Nagpur Regiment on 1st April 1917.

  • Uniform - Khaki
  • Facings - White
  • Badge - Horse shoe surmounted by a crown encircling a striking cobra
  • Motto - "I strike to kill"
