==Background==
The ‘[[Gurumaishini-Sini Railway Project]]’ was a proposal in 1906 for Messrs Tata and Sons to construct an Iron and Steelworks near [[Sini]] in Mourbhanj State to connect with the [[Bengal-Nagpur Railway]](BNR) network at [[Gorumahisani|Gorumahisani(Gurumaishini)]]. This proposal was not adopted, and the Steelworks was located at [[Jamshedpur ]].
