The Karepalli-Kothagudem Railway opened in 1927 as part of Nizam's Guaranteed State Railway

Note - the different spellings Kothagudem, Kothagudam, Kothagudium. None of these spellings occur in "The Imperial Gazetteer".

An on-line search of the India Office Records (IOR) records held at the British Library relating to this railway ^[1] gives the following:-
