It ceased to trade in 1990s but business had been in decline since the 1960s due to the laws restricting the hunting of endangered species – which included tigers.
The family/company published at least two books ''The Preservation of Shikar Trophies'' by Van Ingen and Van Ingen, Artists in Taxidermy, Mysore 1928 and 1933 editions, and ''The Artistic Treatment of Shikar Trophies''. The first is available online, see below.
