The books are available to read online, but can only be downloaded to your computer if you are associated with a participating institution. An advantage is that the pages may be rotated, which is a handy feature for the pages in some books, particularly Army Lists
There are some books which are Searchable, but are not generally available to read online due to copyright issues, unless you are a member of a participating institution, but note some members may '''not''' have access to in-copyright material. Most of these institutions are located in USA, but other institutions (at 2020/0109) are: Australia: Australian National University, Canberra ACT; Monash University, Clayton Campus, Vic; University of Queensland; New South Wales, Sydney and University of Sydney, NSW; University of Queensland, Brisbane; New Zealand, University of Auckland; Spain, Complutense University of Madrid; Lebanon, American University of Beirut.
