==Italy==
The Apulia region of Italy was used as a rest area for British troops serving in the Salonika campaign. ==The British Salonika Force and the Army of the Black Sea==
Immediately after the Armistice with Turkey orders had been issued for British troops to move to the Caucasus, due to the situation there. Troops were sent from the nearest British forces available, from the Salonika Force, and from North Persia [Mesopotamia Force]. Subsequently all troops came under control of the British Salonika Force, which later became known as the Army of the Black Sea, with Headquarters at Constantinople.<ref>Gardenerbill.
