Solani River Aquaduct Construction Railway
One of India's first railways opened in 1845. It was constructed to convey materials for a major irrrigation project & 'Solani River Aquaduct' crossing the River Ganges at Roorkee and to Mahewar.
It is generally known as the Mahewar & Roorkee Railway.
