Sultan Fateh Ali Khan Shahab, Tipu Saheb or Bahadur Khan Tipu Sultan (1750-1799) succeeded his father Hyder Ali as ruler of the Kingdom of Mysore. He fought the British in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Mysore Wars. He was killed at the Battle of Seringapatam.
