Born 1878, he worked in India c 1906-1912 for the Indian Civil Veterinary Department investigating camel diseases for the Indian Government , including brief periods at Muktesar Imperial Laboratory, (situated 50km from [[Naini Tal]]). However, most of the time was spent in field work in “the most empty parts” of North West India. He also worked with Silledar Camel Corps. In the late 1920s Leese became a British Fascist anti Jewish politician. His camel books are
