Yamunanager Paper Mill Railway

The Yamunanager Paper Mill, Jagadhri was established in 1927 as the 'Punjab Pulp & Paper Mill Co Ltd'. It commenced operation in October 1928 and received its wood from Kalesar forest reserve and Sirmur State and Kalasia State. The company went into liquidation in 1936 when 'Shree Gopal Paper Mills' purchased the site. It later became part of 'Ballarpur Industries Ltd [1], and is now known as the BILT Paper Mill, Yamuna Nager [2].

The paper mill was connected by a broad gauge(BG) branch line to the Ghaziabad-Lahore Railway Mainline of the North Western Railway (NWR).
