  • 1885 became 33rd Madras Infantry
  • 1890 became 3rd Burma Infantry
  • 1891 became 33rd Regiment (3rd Burma Battalion) Madras Infantry
  • 1901 became 33rd Burma Infantry
  • 1903 became 93rd Burma Infantry Regiment
  • 1922 became 5th/8th Punjab Regiment
  • 1947 allocated to Pakistan on Partition
  • 1956 merged with other units to form the Baloch Regiment
