Bhira Power Station Railway
The Bhira Power Station was the third hydro-electric power station to be constructed by 'Tata Hydro Electic Co Ltd'. The power station opened in 1927. It receives water from the Mulshi Dam.
The records show that a 2ft/610mm narrow gauge(NG) locomotive, dated 1921, was used during the construction of the power station [1].
