Thacker, Spink & Company were the leading book publishers in Calcutta. (From 1863 -1958 they were responsible for publication of the annual Thackers Indian directories - which are of great value to British India family historians today.)
In addition, they were early publishers of picture postcards. They had an office for distribution in London, England. They operated until 1960. [1]
