Chanda Sahib (??-1752) was the Nawab of the Carnatic between 1749 and 1752 and an ally of the French. In the 2nd Carnatic War he fought against the British who supported a rival claimant to his throne, Muhammed Ali Khan. Chanda Sahib was eventually executed by the Rajah of Tanjore.
