- 1858, Great Southern of India Railway(GSIR), Chief Engineer [1]
- c.1863, resigned from GSIR was appointed Chief Contractor’s Agent for Waring Brothers , during the construction of the Allahabad and Jubbulpore branch of the East Indian Railway.
- c.1868, returned to England
