The Nizam Sagar Canal Construction Railway was a 2ft/610mm narrow gauge(NG) railway, of unknown length, in use for this construction from 1924 until 1940. The Canal was part of a large scale irrigation project on the Majira River, 145 km north-west of Hyderabad [1].
