The Oudh and Rohilkhand Railway Battalion were an auxiliary regiment associated with the Oudh and Rohilkhand Railway.
Chronology
- 1903 formed as the Oudh and Rohilkhand Railway Volunteer Rifle Corps on 24th July from the Rohilkhand Volunteer Rifle Corps and part of the Oudh Volunteer Rifle Corps[1]
- 1917 became 25th Oudh and Rohilkhand Railway Battalion on 1st April[1]
- 1920 redesignated on 1st October as Oudh and Rohilkhand Railway Battalion[1]
- 1926 amalgamated with the East Indian Railway Regiment[2]
