The Singhjani Branch Railway was a metre gauge(MG) branch line from the East Bengal Railway's ‘EBR Metre Gauge’ Santahar-Kaunia Loop Railway. From Bonarpara to Fulchari (on the right bank of the River Brahmaputra) opened 1900; crossing to Bahadurabad (on the left bank to Singhjani in 1912; extended to Kandirpara Ghat in 1914 [1]
