===Later chronology===Originally constituted on 18th December 1925 when the [[I. (Calcutta) Field Brigade]] and the [[V. (Cossipore) Field Brigade]] amalgamated. The [[Calcutta Brigade]] All sepoy artillery units were founded on the 21 September 1883 as abolished after the [[Calcutta Naval Artillery VolunteersIndian Mutiny]] and later became the [[(Calcutta Port Defence) Group Garrison Artillery]] on 1st April 1917. Reconstituted on the 1st October 1920 as [[I. (Calcutta Port Defence) Field Brigade]]. The [[Cossipore Artillery]] European battalions became part of the [[Cossipore Brigade]] on 1st February 1884. Reorganised 7th September 1888 as the [[Cossipore Artillery Volunteers]] and later became [[I. (Cossipore) Brigade Mobile Royal Artillery]] on the 1st April 1917. Then reconstituted on the 1st October 1920 as the [[IV. (Cossipore) Field Brigade]].
