The table below was designed to help people who have found a reference to a baptism'''Bengal Ecclesiastical Returns''' are [[Church records|church record]]/parish register transcripts of Protestant and Catholic churches in the Presidency of [[Bengal (Presidency)|Bengal]], marriage or burial on a 1713-1948. The original records are part of the [[LDSAsia, Pacific & Africa Collection]] microfilm and would like to find it on one held at the [[British Library]] or vice versain London, where microfilm copies can be viewed and alphabetical indexes consulted.
The returns were also filmed by the [[LDS]] (Mormon) genealogical society and are available for viewing by the public at [[Family History Centres]] worldwide. The LDS have indexes to the returns on microfilm. A list of film numbers can be found below.
