: Thanks for the feedback. I have corrected the two blunders. 1795 was the year that Capt Williams used as a base year and where I got a lot of my information from. In 1796 the 36 battalions were condensed into 12 regiments of two battalions each. Pargana was the Hindustani word for a tax area.
