Gora Kabristan literally means the graveyard of the 'fair skinned' which reference was to the british occupants of sind. The graves also now house local christians & those of chinese origin. Tombstones are articulate and some are positively works of art.
It is located on the main road of Karachi once known as the drigh road mentioned by T.E.Lawrence in his tome, Seven Pillars of Wisdom.
