*This 1998 India List [http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/india/1998-07/0901353945 post] advises the researcher visited the school and saw some old records including an especially useful series of printed Annual Reports of the 1870s to early 1880s which included a listing of every child in the school. After that the practice appeared to cease. The British Library has Reports from 1849-1873 (broken sequence) as follows: Oriental Collections ST 1257 Holdings: 1st (1849)-7th (1855), wanting: 6th (1854) and July 1858/Apr. 1859-1872/73, wanting: 1865/66, 1866/67.(Details in the Integrated Catalogue). However, it is not known whether these are the same documents referred to in the India List post.
