The modern map shows and Google Earth shows Kampil to be near the Ganges about 20 miles from Fatehgarh with a place called Bhongaon about 12 miles away and Aliganj to the south. <br>
The location map (20th cent survey) shows Kampil and Bhargain which seems to cofirm this as the battle location. No sign however of the other vilages of Mungla & Patin mentioned in the text. No sign on any map of Khankhur<br>
However there is another place called Bhongaon on Google Earth and Bhargain on the modern map about 8 miles from Mainpuri which is to the WSW of Fatehgarh. <br>--[[User:Symorsebrown|Sy]] 06:49, 16 June 2008 (PDT)
