The majority of the newspapers were published 1800-1900. However the website does include some published pre 1800 and a few post 1900. A list of publications is located on the [http://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/ Home Page]. Now includes some Irish newspapers. Search is free with pay to view full article - also available at no cost in the [[British Library]] Reading Rooms.
*[http://www.irishnewsarchive.com Irish Newspaper Archives] is a [https://www.irishnewsarchive.com/sign_up1.php pay site] also available as a subscription website through subscribing libraries. Currently (October 2012) it contains 23 titles, mainly from the 1900s, but with some earlier publications dating back to the 1700s. This website may also be accessed (free) from the [[British Library]] Reading Rooms.
