Changes

The 90 mile long DSR was opened for traffic in 1885. In 1887, to ensure better management, the DSR was amalgamated with the '''[[Eastern Bengal State Railway]] '''(EBSREBR).

At [[Mymensingh]], there was an end-on connection to the privately owned [[Mymensingh-Jamalpur-Jagannath Railway]], also worked by the EBSREBR.
