Changes

At present (August 2015) we are updating this list as a work-in-progress project. We have identified over 500 different Railways including tramways,industrial lines, rail/river ferries. These will be added over the next few months. FIBIS Fact File #4: Research sources for Indian Railways, 1845-1947, is far more comprehensive list of over 330 names and this will, in due course be revised. Ultimately those new names will be included here so check back from time to time if you do not at first find the name that you seek.
