The '''Parlakimedi Light Railway''' (PLR) was a short 2ft 6in/762mm narrow gauge([[Rail_gauge#Narrow_Gauge|NG]]) line, owned by the Raja of Parlakimedi; the [[Princely states|Princely ]][[Parlakimedi State]]. It linked [[Parlakimedi]] to Nanpada, a length of 24 miles (39km), the line opened in 1900. The working of the railway was taken over by the [[Bengal-Nagpur Railway]] in 1902.
