Like the Sind Railway, the Punjab Railway was built to [[broad gauge]] and was one of the original [[guaranteed railway]]s. Early on, it merged with the [[Sind Railway]] and the [[Indus Flotilla]] to form the [[Sind, Punjab and Delhi Railway]].
