==Education==
Schools for boys and girls were opened at Bycullah in 1826. These schools were run by the Society for Promoting the Education of the Poor, Within the Government of Bombay, known as the Bombay Education Society. Refer [[Orphans#Bombay|Orphans - Bombay]].
