The MG line of 41 miles(65km) opened 1902-3 from [[Vijapur]] to [[Kolol]], opened 1902 and reached [[Kadi ]] and extended by a further in 1903. A 5 milesmile(8km) extension opened in 1912 from [[Kadi]] to Bhoyani Road <ref name=Admin/> .

Appoval A further 21 miles extension from Bhoyani Road to [[Bechraji]] was granted sanctioned in 1916 for the ‘Bhoyani Road-Bochraji Extension’, a further 21 miles(34km) <ref>“Railways in India – GOI Administrative Report 1916-17 / Native States Lines” page 17]</ref> <ref name=Admin/> and completed at sometime before 1921 to complete the connection to the metre gauge [[Gaekwar's Mehsana Railway]]’(GMR) at [[Bechraji]]. In 1921 the working of this line, together with the GMR, passed from the BB&CIR to the [[Gaekwar's Baroda State Railway]](GBSR)
