A portal sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, with the aim of providing a single window search facility. It is not immediately clear which other digital libraries have contributed content, but includes content from the previous Digital Library of India, and also West Bengal Public Library Network, Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE) and South Asia Archive. The latter is a subscription website and access to it through DNLA NDLI is limited to "all the UGC colleges in India". For non Indian residents the viewing of content will generally need to be via the website of the contributing institutions, as it appears to register with NDLI, you need to be an Indian resident at an educational institution. However you can access content from the previous Digital Library of India, although it may be slow and the Internet Archive (Archive.org) may be preferable for those DLI files also uploaded to Archive.org.
