This is clearly the current suburb of Kolkata. The date indicates it was on Clive’s route to Plassey. Have found an account of the conflict on 5 February but does not name Chitpur. The coordinates in the Excel table must be wrong. They are down on the coast of Orissa.--Sy 04:54, 19 June 2008 (PDT)
