I can find no reference to a conflict in Macao nor to Gen Burrell in 1840. The details I have entered are for the attack on Canton in 1841. Maj Gen Burrell was there on 27 June and there was a Josshouse Hill. There was another conflict at Josshouse Hill at Ting-Hai (Dinghai) on Chusan (Zhoushan) Island in 1860 -2nd Opium War.
