Battles & Actions in British India 1600-1900 gives Date as 1765 and Commander as Captain Kinloch. Captain Kinloch was in Nepal in 1767 but can find no conflict at Katmandu in 1765.--Sy 06:58, 2 October 2008 (PDT)
