List of Battles & Actions in British India 1600-1900 gives location as Seupoorah (Nr Peeleebhet) presumably modern Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh. The ODNB refers to Sirpur in the Adilabad district of Hyderabad. This must be wrong as the Mutiny of the Bengal Army did not extend that far south. Can't pinpoint location.
