An account of the 1857 expedition against the Bozdari describes their territory being in the Suleiman Range approached by a pass 8 miles west of Mangrotha which is 50 miles north of Dera Ghazi Khan,Punjab. Their strong point was located 10 miles up the pass. Coordinates are approximate.
