Walajabad is in South India.
In 1880 a 13 mile section of the South Indian Railway was opened from Chingleput to Walajabad, and in 1881 a further 8 mile section was opened from Walajabad to Conjeveeram. [1]

- Website of British Association for Cemeteries in South Asia reveals that a BACSA cemetery file is held at British Library London under reference F370/384. The online listing indicates that the cemetery is in Saidapat and operated from 1802-1849
