- 1903-07, Asst Engr, i/c Gonda Sub-division - 156 miles, open line [marr. 1905, living Gonda]
- 1907, Asst Engr i/c Chupra Sub-division
- 1907-08, i/c Burhwal Sitapur Extension - famine relief work
- 1908-09, Officiating Resident Engr, i/c of Gorakhpur Division (Headquarters); 330 miles open line, 24 miles construction, incl completion of new Loco & Carriage Shops
- 1910-11, Asst Engr Thana-Bihpur Sub-division
- 1911-17, Asst Engr Chupra Sub-division (Maintenance)
- 1917-20, War service Royal Engineers (110th Railway Co.); rly construction in France. Admin at War Office after armistice.
- Bombay, Baroda and Central India Railway(BB&CIR); 1920-38, Executive Engineer
- Executive Engr i/c of Maintenance & construction (bridge renewals, heavy relaying programme, flood damage line repairs (Baroda 1927), station yard remodellings, bridge construction, etc)
- 1933, 1937 Acted as Deputy Engineer-in-Chief & Deputy General Manager.
- 1938, Retirement at age limit of 55
