The Madras Railway Volunteers were a volunteer corps.
Chronology
- 1885 raised 21st August as the Madras Railway Volunteers (Madras GO No. 439)[1]
- 1910 amalgamated on 4th June to become Madras and Southern Mahratta Railway Rifles[2]
