Ghagar Canal Construction Railway

The 'Ghagar Canal' was constructed between 1912 and 1918. It was an irrigation canal fed from headworks on the Karamnasa River, Mizapur District and constructed by the United Provinces Public Works Department. There was also feeder cut to the Ghagar River [1].

The records show that a 2ft/610mm narrow gauge(NG) was used for the construction [1].
