Deulberra Colliery was a ‘Bengal-Nagpur Railway Colliery’, previously known as the ‘Talcher Colliery’ with an output of 158,000 tons for 1935-36, falling to 30,000 tons in 1936-37 [1]

The record shows the 'Bengal-Nagpur Railway' 'BNR Nergundi to Talcher Branch' opened in 1927 [2], this line would have been used to convey the coal.
