Nagpur Chhattisgarh Railway (NCR) was a metre gauge line that existed in 1888 and was owned by the Great Indian Peninsula Railway(GIPR). The Railway track, which extended from Nagpur to Rajnandgaon passed through Tumsar, Gondia and Dongargarh. This railway was also known as Chhattisgarh State Railway

In 1888 this railway track was purchased from GIPR by the Bengal-Nagpur Railway(BNR), a company incorporated in 1887, and was converted to broad gauge. Thus marked the beginning of BNR. The Nagpur Chhattisgarh Railway was thus merged into BNR.
