The 1st Battalion was in India from 1902 until 1919, and appears to have been based at Rawalpindi (1909-1913) and Peshawar (1913-1914) and perhaps other periods. It was at camps at Rustam, Adezai, and Nagoman, while serving on the North West Frontier of India, between August-November 1915. [1]
