  • 1849 raised as the No 2 Horse Light Field Battery, Punjab Irregular Force at Dera Ghazi Khan from disbanded Sikh artillerymen following the 2nd Sikh War
  • 1876 became the 2nd Dejarat Mountain Battery
  • 1903 became the 22nd Dejarat Mountain Battery (Frontier Force)
  • 1920 became the 22nd Dejarat Pack Battery (Frontier Force)
  • 1921 became the 102nd (Dejarat) Pack Battery
  • 1922 became the 102nd (Dejarat) Pack Battery (Frontier Force)
  • 1924 became part of the Royal Regiment of Artillery as the 102nd (Dejarat) Pack Battery R.A. (F.F.)
  • 1927 became the 2nd (Dejarat) Indian Mountain Battery, R.A. (F.F.)
  • 1928 became the 2nd (Dejarat) Mountain Battery, R.A. (F.F.)
  • 1939 became the 2nd Dejarat Mountain Battery F.F.
  • 1947 allocated to India
