The Faridpur Branch Railway was a Eastern Bengal Railway(EBR) branch line. The line opened in 1898-99.
It was a broad gauge(BG) branch of the Poradah Branch Railway that had been constructed by Northern Bengal State Railway(NBSR) but worked by EBR, later apparently taken over by EBR c.1913
