Mohmand Campaign 1935
There were two operations on the North West Frontier in 1935 carried out by the Nowshera Brigade, the Loe Agra Campaign and The Mohmand Campaign.
The Loe Agra Campaign was between 23 February and 13 April 1935.
The Mohmand Campaign was between 16 August and 15 October 1935.

The award of the Victoria Cross to the late Captain Godfrey Meynell, M.C., 5th Battalion (Queen Victoria's Own Corps of Guides), 12th Frontier Force Regiment, Indian Army. For most conspicuous gallantry and extreme devotion to duty on the 29th September, 1935, while operating against Mohmand tribesmen in the attack on Point 4080.
