The Chhindwara-Pench Coal Fields Railway opened in 1906-7 to connect the Pench coalfield with the by Bengal-Nagpur Railway(BNR) network at Chhindwara . The line was 2ft 6in/762mm narrow gauge(NG) with a length of 22 miles(36km). [1]

The railway was worked by Bengal-Nagpur Railway(BNR) as part of Satpura Railway Narrow Gauge network.
