No. 1 (Calcutta) Fortress Company
Originally raised from the Calcutta Port Defence Volunteers on the 1st April 1902 and then became the No. 1 Electrical Engineer Company on the 1st April 1917. On the 1st October 1920 the unit became No. 1 (Calcutta) Field Company before becoming No. 1 (Calcutta) Fortress Company on the 1st April 1933.
